These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website www.customvolt.co.uk (“Site”) and the purchase of products from CustomVolt Solutions Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our Site and/or purchasing products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

2. Eligibility to Purchase
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
- By placing an order, you confirm that all details provided are accurate, complete, and current.
3. Products
- Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided for guidance. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that colours, dimensions, or details are error-free.
- Certain products (e.g., lithium batteries, power banks) are subject to transport and safety restrictions. Customers are responsible for ensuring products are used in accordance with manufacturer instructions and legal requirements.
- Lithium batteries and electronic appliances have transport and safety restrictions; misuse may void warranty or legal protection.
4. Pricing & Payment
- Prices are stated in GBP (£) and include VAT (where applicable). Delivery charges are calculated at checkout.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect confirmed orders.
- Payment must be made in full at the time of order using the payment methods provided.
- We use secure third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store your full payment details.
5. Order Process & Contract Formation
- Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
- You will receive an order confirmation email. This does not constitute acceptance.
- A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example, due to product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.
6. Delivery
- Delivery options, costs, and estimated times are set out in our Shipping Policy.
- Risk in the goods passes to you once delivery is completed to the address provided.
- Title (ownership) of the goods passes only once full payment has been received.
7. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
- Your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive apply.
- You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods (subject to exclusions).
- Goods must be returned unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.
- Due to safety and hygiene regulations, opened batteries and used power banks cannot be returned unless faulty.

- EU customers may use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
8. Faulty or Defective Goods
- If products are faulty, misdescribed, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Please notify us within a reasonable time, ideally within 30 days of delivery.
9. Warranty
- Power banks and small home appliances are supplied with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, unless otherwise stated.
- Covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
- Does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, accidents, or modifications.
- Claims: Contact team@customvolt.co.uk with order number and fault description. We may request photos.
- Remedy: Repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
10. WEEE & Battery Recycling
- We comply with UK WEEE & Battery Regulations and EU WEEE Directive.
- Do not dispose of batteries or electronic products in household waste.
- Return end-of-life items to local recycling points or retailers accepting WEEE/batteries.

11. Limitation of Liability
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
- Subject to the above, we are not liable for:
- indirect, incidental, or consequential losses;
- loss of data, business, or profits;
- damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or use of products outside manufacturer guidelines. - Our total liability for any claim in connection with your purchase will not exceed the price paid for the product.
12. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Site (including text, images, graphics, logos, and software) is our property or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. No content may be copied, distributed, or exploited without our prior written consent.
13. Privacy & Cookies
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy & Cookies Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including strikes, natural disasters, transport disruptions, or government restrictions.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- UK customers may bring claims in the courts of England and Wales.
- EU customers may also benefit from mandatory local consumer protection laws in their country of residence.
16. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will take effect when posted on the Site. Continued use of the Site or purchases after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
